Ladies I can’t emphasize enough the importance of a good at home hair care regimen. Since the bulk of my clients are natural I’m going to take the time out to give a hair care regimen to the ladies who enjoy wearing their “wash-n-go.”
I’ve noticed a lot of ladies that enjoy wearing wash-n-go curls typically have issues with dryness. In an effort to help you all combat that I am going to outline a hair care regimen from start to finish using Influance Hair Care products for the LOC/LCO methods.
Step 1: Detangle your hair!
Make sure you have properly detangled your hair before you start shampooing! This will help you avoid matting during the process.
Step 2: Cleanse your hair
Shampoo 2 times with Influance Deep Cleansing Shampoo
Shampoo 1 final time with Influance Honey Almond Shampoo
Step 3: Condition your hair
Apply Influance Honey Almond Conditioner. While the conditioner is still on the hair brush/comb through your hair carefully removing any tangles/knots that may have arose during the shampoo process. If you would like to deep condition apply a plastic cap and sit under a dryer for 5-10 minutes.
Step 4: Towel Dry the hair and Apply a Leave in Conditioner (First step in the LOC method… L stands for leave in)
Spray the hair with Influance Leave-In Conditioner. Make sure to spray evenly throughout the hair.
Step 5: Apply Oil (Second step in LOC method… O stands for Oil)
Apply Influance Natural Oil throughout the hair. Massage the oil in from root to ends. Pay special attention to the ends.
Step 6: Apply Cream (Third step in LOC method… C stands for cream)
Apply Influance Moisture Lock throughout the hair. Evenly distribute it from root to ends like the previous step. Pay close attention to the ends to make sure you’re working the product through to the ends so that the Moisture Lock is sealing in the oil and leave in you applied during the previous steps.
Step 7: Style
Now that your hair is properly moisturized you can style your hair as you normally do for your wash-n-go. Some people just finger comb or twist the curls into action. If you normally use a mousse or setting lotion during this step I suggest the Influance Honey Almond Styling Foam
***If you prefer the LCO method swap steps 5 & 6.
